Our coffee roasting business goes from strength to strength – at a rough estimate we have roasted our way through a metric ton or thereabouts of green coffee in twelve months (our machine is a 2.5KG batch shop-roaster, so that makes about 400 roasts this year!)
We recently started to sell coffee online from our shop where all of our coffees can be purchased along with our range of coffeeware and accessories, this range is growing all the time – so keep checking back for new stock additions. Postage was a bit of a tricky one – we wanted to give good value, while also insuring the goods and having tracking as a backup – happily, we got everything we wanted for a good price and none of those ridiculous top-up postage charges that folk in some parts of the UK have to deal with. At the moment, we can post up to 5kg anywhere in the UK, including the furthest northern settlement of the UK which is Skaw, Unst (Shetland) – or indeed to the furthest southern settlement, which is St Agnes, Isles of Scilly for £4.99 all-in. None too shabby.
We have had another busy year in catering outside of Artysans, delivering food to addresses across Inverness and as far out as Invergordon on a regular basis. We’re thrilled to have so many repeat customers – it shows we are chosen again and again for our freshness, taste & value, even still – we’re trying to spread the word further at the moment. Also, keep an eye out for the delivery vehicle bopping around the town in 2012 with it’s newly applied Café Artysans branding. The graphics work hasn’t been done yet but should be finished early in January. If you haven’t already checked out our outside catering menu – you can have a peek here.
